About TMCEC

TMCEC strives to provide excellent educational programs and literature for Texas judges, city attorneys, and court support personnel to ensure the fair and impartial administration of justice.  We aim to inform the public about both the Texas judicial system and the laws relating to public safety and quality of life in Texas communities.

The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation created by the Texas Municipal Courts Association in 1984 and funded in large part by a grant from the Court of Criminal Appeals.  A copy of our corporate bylaws as amended in 2006 by the TMCA Board of Directors is available here.
